This program was created with web developers in mind. Occasionally a non-ASCII character will come up that needs to be encoded correctly. The HTML syntax to encode these is &#number;. How most people do this is by looking through charts until they finally find the character. Decode - The "To Unicode" function prints out the Unicode number equivalent of any character. Copy and paste the character(s) into the text box then press enter or click "DECODE!!". Encode - The "From Unicode" function does just the opposite. Let's say you have a bunch of numbers and you want to see what characters they represent. For example, enter this into the text box:

70 114 105 98 106 117 108 111 117 115 32 72 111 108 108 105 100 97 121 33 33 32 166 68

There is no need to remove non-numeric characters from the input. They will be filtered out. A warning will appear, but this makes no difference.

If you have Windows, you might be interested in Alt keys. Display - The range function is for browsing through ALL Unicode characters. It starts at zero (even though there is no zero, shhhh!!), and goes pretty much as high as you would like. It stops somewhere after 10000240913. I recommend the 9000\'s. ¦D Happy Unicoding!
