Welcome!

This program is currently in Beta. If you find a bug, please, please, please let me know by clicking the link in the top left and filling out the form with a detailed description of how to make the bug happen again. Optionally, you can paste the load text into the message as well so that I can see the exact set of flash cards you were using when the bug occurred.

Or if you say to yourself, "It'd be great if..." please let me know what you would like!! I'll probably include it!!

This program is better than paper flash cards because it keeps track of the problems you miss and makes them occur more often. Plus the act of typing out the answer each time hammers it into your memory a little better.

How to input problems and answers:

The easiest way to input problems and answers is by simply typing return. Typing shift + return will allow you to type an actual retrun character. Give it a try!

You can navigate through the problems you have added by pressing "Next Problem" or "Last Problem". If you would like to change one of the problems, navigate to it, make the change, click "Input Problem" or type return and it will overwrite the current problem. If you would like to add a problem after the current problem & before any of the other problems, press "Insert Problem" and it will create a whole new problem.

When you're finished adding problems, click "Begin".

Options

The options menu looks slightly different on each page. Go to the input problem page and open it.

Each time "Load Problems" is pressed, the text area is refreshed with the current problems and answers. "Load Problems & Retries" does the same thing but also remembers which problems you have missed this session. This way you can save multiple sets of flash cards on your hard drive. To load a previous set, replace the text in the textarea and click "Load".

The "Number of Times to Run Again" button prompts for a new number of times you would like a problem to be added to the retries list. This means, once you have run over that retry problem x number of times, it disappears from the list of problems to run over again.

More Options

On the quiz page, three other options are visible. Each one toggles.

The "Missed Problems Only" button is good for focusing on only the problems that have been missed, ignoring the problems you are most familiar with.

The "Set Problems Only" button is good for verbal answers and visual confirmation by entering nothing and typing return.

The "Randomize Problems" button is especially useful when running all problems because the problems
